This is one of the most iconic spots in all of Los Angeles and one of the reasons it’s popular with daters in LA. While it may be a bit cliche, there is no denying that it is one of the best date ideas whether you’re on a first date or on your anniversary. It’s particularly breathtaking at night with the amazing city of view of Los Angeles.

2. Highland Park Bowl – $$ – Website

Bowling is one of those date ideas that will stand the test of time. Highland Park Bowl, LA’s oldest alley, is a perfect place to bring a first date. Just remember to head here after 8pm to avoid the younger crowd. If you don’t want to bowl, sit at the bar and grab some drinks and food. Watching people bowl can be just as fun as the act of bowling. To spice up the date a bit, make a friendly wager on who you think will win. You can find metered parking on the streets and there are parking lots near Ave 56 & 57

3. The Huntington – $$ – Website

An absolutely incredible place to visit with tons to see and do. The first Thursday of the month is free. Free tours are available as well but not on Free Days. This is great date for people who don’t feel like going to a bar.

5. The Last Bookstore – $ – Website

A bookstore date sounds boring… but it’s not, especially at The Last Bookstore. How do you make a date out of going to a bookstore you ask? Show each other what your favorite books are. Show each other books that you’re currently reading. Go to the food section and check out recipes you both might want to try and cook together. You can also check out some of the events they have going on too here.
